PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERMAIN PERAN (ROLE PLAY)

Abstract
Pembelajaran IPS dirasakan sangat membosankan dan terlalu sulit untuk dipahami karena penggunaan metode ataupun model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Model pembelajaran bermain peran (Role Play) dianggap suatu model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran IPS terutama pada materi kerjasama disekitar rumah dan sekolah karena yang melibatkan seluruh siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar IPS siswa melalui model pembelajaran bermain peran (Role Play) di kelas III SDN Kampung Tengah – Puraseda Kabupaten Bogor. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Terkumpulnya data lewat wawancara, observasi, tes formatif dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya yaitu teknik analisis data kualitatif serta kuantitatif dengan menentukan nilai hasil belajar, persentase partisipasi belajar siswa, persentase ketuntasan belajar, dan rata-rata nilai. Target keberhasilan awal persentase partisipasi siswa adalah 80% dan presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar 80% dengan rata-rata 70. Pada keadaan awal persentase partisipasi siswa adalah 44,11% dari dan presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar 32,9% dengan rata-rata 60. Pada siklus 1, persentase partisipasi siswa adalah 60,29% serta ketuntasan belajar 70,58% dengan rata-rata nilai 69,41. Pada siklus 2 persentase partisipasi siswa adalah 81,61% dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 88,23% dengan rata-rata nilai 73,52. Dengan demikian bahwa melalui model pembelajaran bermain peran (role play) partisipasi siswa dan hasil belajar IPS siswa pada materi kerjasama di lingkungan rumah dan sekolah dapat ditingkatkan. Atas temuan penelitian, penulis member saran kepada guru guna memperluas wawasan tentang model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.
