Author Guidelines

  1. Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished in the English or Indonesian Language.
  2. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere, or extended versions of previously published papers in conference proceedings and/or journals.
  3. All manuscripts must be submitted to Jurnal Ilmiah Pangan Halal (JIPH) Office by Online Submission at the journal portal URL: https://ojs.unida.ac.id/JIPH/login where the author registers as Author and/or is offered as a Reviewer online. If authors have any problems with the online submission, please contact the Editorial Office at the following email: mtp.unida@unida.ac.id.
  4. The manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template. The length should be between 3.000-10.000 words.
  5. Cite the main scientific publications on which your work is based.
  6. Cite only items that you have read. Please use APA standard citation format (see: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/general_format.html).
  7. Do not inflate the manuscript with too many references. Avoid excessive self‐citations.
  8. Avoid excessive citations of publications from the same region.
  9. Check each reference against the original source (authors’ name, volume, issue, year, DOI Number).
  10. Please use Reference Manager Applications (we suggest Mendeley or Endnote).
  11. Cite at least from 15 most recent academic papers or books.
  12. Prior to submission, the author should attach the result of the similarity check or inform the editor.
  13. Three types of manuscripts are acceptable for publication: Original Research Articles, Review Articles, and Research reports.
