Implementasi Pembelajaran IPS di SD Kelas Tinggi Berbasis Aplikasi LMS Google Classroom

Abstract
Timbulnya tantangan dan hambatan praktik pengajaran di tengah pandemi Covid-19 melatari penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian yakni untuk mengetahui implementasi Pembelajaran IPS di SD Kelas Tinggi berbasis Google Classroom yang menitik beratkan pada pengembangan kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills di masa pandemi. Pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif analisis digunakan pada penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian yaitu 60 mahasiswa aktif PGSD Kampus UPI di Cibiru. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi pembelajaran, catatan harian peneliti berdasarkan instrumen serta studi pustaka. Uji keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Adapun data dianalisis melalui kegiatan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa penggunaan LMS Google Classroom mampu mendorong pengembangan keterampilan HOTS serta meningkatkan efektivitas perkuliahan. Temuan tersebut menjadi bukti bahwa Google Classroom merupakan platform yang relevan dan efektif pada masa pandemi yang berorientasi pada pengembangan HOTS.
