Peer Review Process

The Editorial Boards is responsible for making Publication decisions, responsible for deciding which articles will be published in the JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA. Reviewers and editorial teams have the authority to decide which articles meet the requirements published in the JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA.

The editor's decision to accept, reject or to revise it based on the report of the reviewers. Editor's decisions will be sent to the author with recommendations made by the reviewers, It usually includes word-to-word comments.

The editor's decision is final. Reviewers only provide recommendations, The responsibility for the final decision to accept or to reject the manuscript is the editors

The contents must contain: problems, objectives, methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and may not be too dense with numbers. The introduction is written no more than 500 words, must explain the latest issues that lead to the importance of the research carried out, the purpose of the study clearly stated, and write the state of the art of the research topic so that the main picture of the research becomes clear to the readers. However, references in the introduction must be limited because they are not initial discussions. (12pt, Times New Roman)


MATERIALS AND METHODS

The research material and methods must be explained in detail in this section, so that it is possible for other researchers to repeat this research. Material or methods is not used specified separately, but must be integrated with the research procedure. (10pt, Times New Roman)

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The results of the study, including the results of the statistical analysis, are presented in detail in this section. Illustration, if needed, can be presented in the form of tables and / or images. Tables and drawings must be simple, informative, easy to understand, and independent, in the sense that the table or picture in question must be able to explain to the reader,  so that the reader will be  understand all article by reading the result. The data that has been described in the table or image no need to be repeated in writing. Tables and images are loaded on separate pages of text.

 

The results of the study are discussed by comparing it with the results of research on a similar topic from previous researchers to reveal the consistency (consistency) whether consistent or different, then explain the scientific reasons for the results in a straightforward and complete manner to clarify the position of the research. Furthermore, the findings of the research are revealed along with their strengths and weaknesses. If any,  The expression of the findings of this study will make easier to conclude the results of the study. (12pt, Times New Roman)


CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS

Conclusions contain the research findings. It reflected novelty, originality, leadership, universality, and scientific contributions in the development of science and technology.

The author must explain the implications of the results of research in scientific development, and their impact on the environment, social, cultural, economic, political, and / or legal. Implications are presented in simple language so that non-educated readers can easily understand it. (12pt, Times New Roman)

CODE OF ETHICS FOR SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION OF JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA

Foreword

The ethical code of scientific publications in JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA  is used to ensure that all writings published in this journal have followed ethical principles in academic publications to prevent misunderstandings and conflicts. This journal presents articles relating to the field of social sciences and humanities, specifically relating to issues of urban studies, cultural studies, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, and political science.

The code of ethics is an ethical guideline in this journal publication, which must be obeyed by writers, editors, reviewers,  International advisory editorial boards, publishers, and readers.

The Ethics of the Publication of JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA  should be following the guidelines in published articles, from the results of scientific research in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities and have never been published or in the process of submission in other publications. The proposed article can come from the fields of urban studies, cultural studies, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, and political science. JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA  is a journal reviewed by colleagues in the same field of social science.

Articles sent to JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA  must be able to show the quality of scientific work, with the accuracy of research methods, and supporting institutions.  Therefore, it is very important to set standards in ethical behavior for all parties involved in publications: writers, editors, reviewers,  International advisory editorial boards, publishers, and readers.

The Institute for Research and Service to the community of Djuanda University  (LPPM UNIDA) is responsible for all stages of the publication process. Also, all editorial boards and related parties are committed to ensuring that other advertising/promotion, printing or commercial purposes do not have an impact or influence on editorial decisions.

Originality and Plagiarism

The author must ensure that the article submitted is the original work of the author himself, not the work of others. If the author displays data from other people's research or cites references from other articles, the author must include the name of the author of the article cited.

Plagiarism is the act of imitating substantially and retrieving data from the results of other people's research without including the data source, and or the article is either in whole or in part already published in another journal (self-plagiarism). Plagiarism behavior is unethical behavior in publications and cannot be accepted in the Humanities Social Journal. Sending the same article to more than one journal is unethical behavior in publication and is not acceptable.

The author must always include the name of the author from the article cited, from the results of published research (either from research reports, journal articles, books, or other scientific publication sources). The author of the article can consist of 1 (one) person, two people, to unlimited, as long as the person contributes significantly to the article, maybe included as a writer.

Articles originating from research results funded by sponsors must include an acknowledgment to sponsors who have funded it. If there are other people have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research, they must be recognized and registered as contributors. The authors must ensure the suitability of articles with co-authors before they are sent for publication. Authors who are responsible for article repairs must be marked as the corresponding author. This correspondent author will communicate with the editor to improve articles substantively.

Fundamental Errors in Published Articles

When the author discovers errors or inaccuracies of the data in the article to be published, the author is obliged to notify the editor's journal or editorial board to retract the article and correct it.
