Focus and Scope

Jurnal Tadbir Muwahhid is a periodic scientific journal published in  Indonesian Language published twice in a year on every April and October. The manuscript submission process is open year-round. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed with blind-peer reviews and editorial reviews before being accepted for publication. Jurnal Tadbir Muwahhid is an information media and scientific knowledge mainly publishes research articles in the field of Islamic Education Management and Tauhid-Based Management receives manuscripts from the following areas with an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach:

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial staff. The review proccess uses double blind review system. Those manuscripts evaluated by editors to be inappropriate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, require major revision, need minor revision, or accepted.

 

Publication Frequency

Tadbir Muwahhid Journal is published twice a year, Number 1-2 and is scheduled for publication in April and October.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethics

PUBLICATION ETICS


Faculty of Education, Djuanda University develops a scientific peer-reviewed journal as one contribution to the development of Islamic Education Management and Tauhid-Based Managemen. Every paper published will be reviewed by the board of peer reviewers consisting of experts in related fields, so that the quality of the published paper is in accordance with the determined editorial standards. Publication of ethics statement is designed to give an overview of expected behavior and conduct of peer reviewers, editors, and authors.

Tadbir Muwahhid journal is a medium of communication between academics, teachers, researchers and peer reviewers so that publishers have a responsibility to safeguard the validity and independence of research publications published. Issuance decisions are purely determined by the quality of the manuscript and are not influenced by advertising or sponsorship. On the other hand, blinded method was applied to the review process so that the subjectivity and bias can be minimized.

 Duties Of Authors

  1. Have the responsibility of ensuring only new and original work is submitted.
  2. Must not reproduce work that has been previously published in other journals.
  3. Must not submit any articles that are being reviewed or considered by the journal to other journals simultaneously.
  4. Are only allowed to publish their work elsewhere after receiving a formal rejection from the journal or if their request to withdraw their work is officially accepted by the journal.
  5. Must inform the Chief Editor or the publisher of any inaccuracy of data in their published work so that correction or retraction of article can be done.
  6. Should make significant contributions and be held accountable for any shortcoming in their work.

Duties Of Reviewers

  1. Must disclose any competing interest before agreeing to review a submission.
  2. Can refuse to review any submission due to a conflict of interest or inadequate knowledge.
  3. Review all submissions objectively, fairly and professionally.
  4. Reveal any ethical misconduct encountered while reviewing to the Chief Editor for further action.
  5. Should ensure the originality of a submission and be alert to any plagiarism and redundant publication.
  6. Must not discuss the content of the submission without permission.
  7. Adhere to the time allocated for the review process. Requests for extension to review the submission is at the discretion of the Chief Editor.

Duties Of Editorial Board Members

  1. Actively contribute to the development and the greater good of the journal.
  2. Act as ambassadors for the journal.
  3. Continuously support and promote the journal.
  4. Review any work assigned to them.

Duties Of Chief Editor

  1. Evaluate manuscripts fairly and solely on their intellectual merit.
  2. Ensure confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose any information regarding manuscripts to anyone other than the people involved in the publishing process.
  3. Has the responsibility to decide when and which articles are to be published.
  4. Actively seek the views of board members, reviewers and authors on how to improve/ increase the image and visibility of the journal.
  5. Give clear instructions to potential contributors on the submission process and what is expected of the authors.
  6. Ensure appropriate reviewers are selected/ identified for the reviewing process.
