About the Journal

Jurnal Sosial Humaniora , published in 2010, is a refinement of the UNIDA Research Bulletin published in 2004. Editors of the Jurnal Sosial Humaniora published in print from 2010-2016. Editors receive the manuscript following the Guidelines for Authors. This Journal Contains Scientific Work in Its Development, Jurnal Sosial Humaniora underwent an accreditation period, according to the Letter of Notification for the Result of Scientific Journal Accreditation Period VII of 2019 Number: B / 4130 / E5 / E5.2.1 / 2019, December 31, 2019, designated as Rank Up Reaccreditation from to Rank 3 Starting from Volume 10 No. 1 the Year 2019 Starting from Volume 11 Number 1 the Year 2020 Social Journal of Humanities increased from 7 Articles to 8.

CODE OF ETHICS FOR SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION OF JURNAL SOSIAL HUMANIORA

Foreword

The ethical code of scientific publications in Jurnal Sosial Humaniora ensures that all writings published in this journal have followed ethical principles in academic publications to prevent misunderstandings and conflicts. This journal presents articles about the Jurnal Sosial Humaniora, specifically urban studies, cultural studies, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, and political science.

The code of ethics is an ethical guideline in this journal publication, which must be obeyed by writers, editors, reviewers, International advisory editorial boards, publishers, and readers.

The Ethics of the Publication of Jurnal Sosial Humaniora should follow the guidelines in published articles from the results of scientific research in the fields of Jurnal Sosial Humaniora and have never been published or in the process of submission in other publications. The proposed article can come from urban studies, cultural studies, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, and political science. Jurnal Sosial Humaniora is a journal reviewed by colleagues in the same social science field.

Articles sent to Jurnal Sosial Humaniora must show the quality of scientific work, with the accuracy of research methods and supporting institutions. Therefore, it is crucial to set standards for ethical behavior for all parties involved in publications: writers, editors, reviewers, International advisory editorial boards, publishers, and readers.

The Institute for Research and Service to the community of Djuanda University (LPPM UNIDA) is responsible for all stages of the publication process. Also, all editorial boards and related parties are committed to ensuring that other advertising/promotion, printing, or commercial purposes do not impact or influence editorial decisions.

Originality and Plagiarism

The author must ensure that the article submitted is the author's original work, not the work of others. If the author displays data from other people's research or cites references from other articles, the author must include the author name of the article cited.

Plagiarism is the act of imitating substantially and retrieving data from the results of other people's research without including the data sourced. The article is either in whole or in part already published in another journal (self-plagiarism). Plagiarism behavior is unethical behavior in publications and cannot be accepted in Jurnal Sosial Humaniora. Sending the same article to more than one journal is unethical behavior in publication and is not acceptable.

The author must always include the author's name from the article cited from the published research results (from research reports, journal articles, books, or other scientific publication sources). The article's author can consist of 1 (one) person or two people, unlimited, as long as the person contributes significantly to the paper and may be included as a writer.

Articles originating from research results funded by sponsors must include an acknowledgment to sponsors who have supported it. If other people have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research, they must be recognized and registered as contributors. The authors must ensure the suitability of articles with co-authors before they are sent for publication. Authors responsible for article repairs must be marked as the corresponding author. This correspondent author will communicate with the editor to improve articles substantively.

Fundamental Errors in Published Articles

When the author discovers errors or inaccuracies in the data in the article to be published, the author must notify the editor's journal or editorial board to retract the article and correct it.

Task Board Editor

The Editorial Board is responsible for making Publication decisions and deciding which articles will be published in the Jurnal Sosial Humaniora. Reviewers and editorial teams can determine which articles meet the requirements published in the Jurnal Sosial Humaniora.
